Reagan and the laundry

We've taught Reagan the most wonderful trick. When we strip off our clothes, she runs to the pile and meticulously carries each piece (usually one at a time) to the laundry basket in my closet. This is a beautiful thing.

Of course, she also pulls damp washcloths out of the dirty clothes basket and then proceeds to wipe her face with them. And maybe now and then she takes stinky diapers and tosses them into her bedroom hamper... but we're choosing to celebrate the little joys of life rather than focus on the great, big ICKS of parenthood.

Baby steps.

I used to think we needed to get the girls together for a playdate of sorts, but now I'm terrified of what the result would be. I mean, Katie already picked up the washing her hair with available water thing (only in my case...the toilet!).

Laundry is the opposite in our home, Katie pulls out the CLEAN laundry and runs with it.

Diapers, alas, still end up in her hamper though.

can you imagine if they were to get together? Well, at least, we could relax and laugh together over their antics. ;)

We should definitely get these two together. They're two peas in a pod!
