The Evidence

Yes, even in the midst of Invasion 2008, my husband risked death by mauling to take this picture as evidence of our slow-moving thief. Never in a gazillion years would I have whipped out my phone to document the scene. I might have called 911 but picture taking? No, that wasn't on my mind at the time.

Hey, Lisa.

I think I've got a raccoon problem myself (though the critter's never been seen, the apt. management continues to insist it's a squirrel problem). I've had an animal ripping open the roof overhang on my patio and roaming around the attic. They've set up traps but it doesn't seem to like the cat food they're baiting with. It moved in sometime this winter and it bumps around in walls and overhead, but with a lot of heft, thus my reluctance to call it a squirrel. I thought it had moved on now that the weather's warmed up, but I had to put in a maintenance request this week, as I see that it's re-opened all corners of the house. Good luck with your critter! Yeah, that's no squirrel. That's a raccoon or a gnomb of some kind. :) Good luck!
